Hello and welcome!  I am Debbi Ferrentino.  I have been interested in art most of life.  My artistic interests coincided with my love of animals.  As a former horse trainer, I naturally began drawing horses! (What else?).  People soon began asking me to do portraits of their animals and I was happy to oblige...

I love working in pastels because of the great freedom is affords me, and because I just love the way it looks!  After getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University at Buffalo, and Masters of Science in Art Education from Buffalo State College, I became a K-12 Certified Art Teacher and have taught at several school districts in Western New York, as well as adult classes.

I soon grew tired of being an Art teacher, however...  NOT because I didn't love teaching - I do!  And not because I didn't enjoy kids - they are the best!  But because the school curriculum and atmosphere limited what I was able to teach my students.  So I decided to open a studio where I can take flight and teach my students art as it should be taught - fun and creative, without limits, without testing and without fear of "not being good enough"!

We offer art lessons in drawing, painting and a variety of media, as well as Digital Art classes.  These unique digital classes lean in the "Fine Arts" direction, which means they offer the student a new perspective on using computers as an art medium!  Create drawings, paintings and a variety of digitally creative artworks  on a computer while learning Adobe Photoshop.

You don't need "artistic talent" to learn.  Everyone can learn to paint and draw! Whether you are an adult or a child, a beginner, or someone who wants a new perspective on their art, we have something for you.   Create works of art in our relaxed and fun studio.
